Philip is the founder and Artistic Director of London Festival Opera.  He is keen to pass on the knowledge and experience gained in a career spanning 40 years.  He created 'Opera Magic' - a children's introduction to the magical world of opera and has since introduced many thousands of children to opera.

 

He studied singing and piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London before embarking on a professional career as a soloist with companies including Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, amongst others.  

 

His play with opera 'I lived for Art' was premiered at the Celebrate Voice Festival in Salisbury in 2021 and plans for 2023 include further presentations in London.
